Schlossalm - Angertal - Stubnerkogel860 - 2,300 m above sea level
In the largest connected ski area, slopes with a difference in altitude of more than 1,000 meters promise a varied slope experience - perfectly connected with modern lifts and cable cars and therefore ideal for all recreational skiers. For beginners, we recommend the Judaulift in the Angertal ski center. The Hohe Scharte Nord (slope H 1 on the piste map) is particularly popular with all ski and snowboard fans. With a length of eight kilometers and a difference in altitude of 1,440 meters, it is one of the longest slopes in the entire Eastern Alps.
The Gastein Valley – a winter delight for all the senses!
In winter, the Gastein Valley reveals its unique, wonderful splendor: no fewer than four mountains, countless rustic huts, a total of more than 200 kilometers of slopes, around forty kilometers of perfectly groomed cross-country ski runs, toboggan runs, ice skating rinks and winter hiking trails as far as the eye can see: Salzburg's unique winter magic awaits you in all its sporting facets right outside your accommodation in Bad Hofgastein. The ski area can be reached quickly and easily with the free ski bus. There, 51 lifts take you up to 2,700 meters above sea level!
